Chicago Surface Lines
These two Green Hornet PCC are on State St. downtown Chicago at  Wacker Drive and the river. This is the kind of streetcar that went by my house day and night. Our first grade teacher took us to Lincoln Park Zoo on a route 36 State/Broadway PCC .  These appear to be two State/Broadway cars. The southbound car going 119th and Morgan st. on far southside. The northbound car is headed for the terminal near Clark and Devon ave. In 1955 the CTA cut route 36 in half the southside part was converted to buses while the north  part of the line operated until 1957.
