Chicago Surface Lines
Chicago City Railway car #2543 is seen for a company builders photo at the St.Louis Car Co. plant in 1901.  In 1910, 2543 and four other sister cars were sold to Hammond, Whiting,& East Chicago Railway, (HW&EC) and were renumbered for that system. By 1935 all 5 cars had been scrapped.
